### Role Overview

### Key Responsibilities
*Assessment**
Evaluate communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, and both expressive and receptive language, to identify disorders and determine eligibility for services.
*Collaboration**
Work with parents, teachers, healthcare providers, and other professionals to share insights, address concerns, and ensure compliance with guidelines.
*Coordination**
Organize and lead meetings for eligible students, including assessments and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), to discuss findings and develop treatment plans.
*Treatment Planning**
Develop individualized treatment plans and educational materials to assist students in overcoming communication disorders, adhering to regulatory standards.
*Instruction**
Provide guidance to support staff on communication disorders and assistive technologies for the effective implementation of treatment plans.
*Technology Integration**
Instruct students on the use of communication technologies, enhancing their educational experience.
*Report Interpretation**

In-depth understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech and hearing.
