Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students exhibiting emotional or behavioral challenges.
ā¢ Provide counseling services to students and families, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
ā¢ Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community resources to create effective support systems.
ā¢ Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops to address common issues faced by students.
ā¢ Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and treatment outcomes.
ā¢ Stay current with best practices in social work and educational regulations.
Required Qualifications
ā¢ Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
ā¢ Active state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
ā¢ Proven experience in a school setting or working with children and adolescents.
ā¢ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and families.
ā¢ Knowledge of mental health issues and resources available for youth.
