Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking for greater flexibility and the opportunity to make an impact from home? VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Remote School-Based SLP to support students across Michigan during the 20262027 school year through teletherapy services.
Qualifications
⢠Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
⢠Active Michigan SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
⢠ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
⢠Minimum of 2 years of experience (school-based and/or teletherapy experience preferred)
⢠Experience developing and managing IEPs
⢠Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
⢠Comfortable utilizing teletherapy platforms and educational technology
Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Intervention
⢠Conduct virtual evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication needs
⢠Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in a remote setting
⢠Deliver direct teletherapy services and monitor student progress
⢠Utilize data-driven decision-making to adjust interventions and maximize outcomes
Collaboration & Support
⢠Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
⢠Provide strategies and resources to promote skill carryover at home and in the classroom
⢠Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Documentation & Compliance
⢠Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and IEP goals
⢠Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
⢠Complete evaluations, reports, and billing documentation as required
Technology & Teletherapy
⢠Utilize virtual platforms and digital tools to deliver engaging therapy sessions
⢠Adapt instructional materials for an effective online learning environment
⢠Troubleshoot basic technology issues and assist families with platform navigation
Advocacy & Education
⢠Support student access to appropriate communication services
⢠Educate families and school teams on speech and language development
⢠Advocate for student needs and effective communication strategies
