Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking for greater flexibility and the opportunity to make an impact from home? VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Remote School-Based SLP to support students across Michigan during the 20262027 school year through teletherapy services.
Qualifications
ā¢ Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
ā¢ Active Michigan SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
ā¢ ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
ā¢ Minimum of 2 years of experience (school-based and/or teletherapy experience preferred)
ā¢ Experience developing and managing IEPs
ā¢ Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
ā¢ Comfortable utilizing teletherapy platforms and educational technology
Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Intervention
ā¢ Conduct virtual evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication needs
ā¢ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in a remote setting
ā¢ Deliver direct teletherapy services and monitor student progress
ā¢ Utilize data-driven decision-making to adjust interventions and maximize outcomes
Collaboration & Support
ā¢ Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
ā¢ Provide strategies and resources to promote skill carryover at home and in the classroom
ā¢ Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Documentation & Compliance
ā¢ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and IEP goals
ā¢ Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
ā¢ Complete evaluations, reports, and billing documentation as required
Technology & Teletherapy
ā¢ Utilize virtual platforms and digital tools to deliver engaging therapy sessions
ā¢ Adapt instructional materials for an effective online learning environment
ā¢ Troubleshoot basic technology issues and assist families with platform navigation
Advocacy & Education
ā¢ Support student access to appropriate communication services
ā¢ Educate families and school teams on speech and language development
ā¢ Advocate for student needs and effective communication strategies
