The Administrative Assistant is responsible for daily administrative tasks, including answering phones and emails, managing student files, and assisting the principal and teachers with various administrative duties.ResponsibilitiesEntering data into the online student information systemManaging student files and recordsGenerating reportsAnswering the phonesScheduling appointmentsSpeaking with Parents and StudentsOrdering office suppliesInteracting with vendorsAssisting with various personnel dutiesAssisting with State Testing dutiesResponsible for requesting, filing, uploading and scanning of special population records with guidance and oversight from the Manager of Special EducationAssisting the Special Populations Department with a wide variety of daily responsibilitiesAdditional duties as assignedSkillsProficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Google Suite, and web-based applications is essentialAbility to multitask in a fast paced environmentExceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenCustomer focused approachHigh degree of flexibilityDemonstrated ability to work well in fast-paced team environmentMust be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authenticationSpecial Education experience is preferredCompany OverviewOregon Connections Academy is a company based out of Prairie City, Oregon, United States.
