Role Description BG Tutors is seeking part time, remote SAT Tutors to deliver high quality instruction using our structured and performance driven curriculum. Tutors diagnose student weaknesses, teach with clarity, and drive measurable score progression each week. This role requires strong communication skills, disciplined preparation, and the ability to operate independently with professional standards. Compensation is $20/hr. Responsibilities • Teach 1-on-1 SAT lessons following BG Tutors’ structured curriculum • Explain Reading, Writing, and Math concepts clearly and accurately • Conduct initial diagnostics and adjust lesson strategy based on performance data • Assign targeted homework and evaluate student work to track patterns and growth • Prepare students for full length practice exams and teach advanced test taking methods • Maintain organized notes, progress summaries, and internal tracking updates • Communicate regularly with parents and program leadership • Hold students to defined accountability expectations Qualifications • Strong command of SAT Reading, Writing, and Math • Clear verbal communication and confidence leading instructional sessions • Evidence of high academic achievement and strong study habits • Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple students independently What You Will Gain • Experience in a competitive, outcome driven education firm • Training in curriculum execution, performance diagnostics, and structured instruction • A measurable record of student improvement suitable for future applications • Direct mentorship and feedback from BG Tutors leadership • A flexible remote schedule with advancement opportunities for top performers Apply tot his job
