NTT DATA Business Solutions is seeking an SAP Project Manager responsible for managing successful project delivery and ensuring customer satisfaction for Field Consulting clients. The role involves planning, directing, and managing SAP implementation projects while maintaining project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance.ResponsibilitiesEstablish credibility with clients as their trusted advisorEffectively use and improve methodology approaches and supporting toolsFacilitate weekly project reviews with clientEstimate and plan projectsDirectly manage one or more projectsResource allocation and load balancing in order to deliver projectsEnsure consistent delivery of projectsMaintain acceptable profitability targets for our projectsProvide backlog and forecast for assigned projects to Engagement ManagerAccount Management for assigned accountsCultivate professional relationships with clientsEstablish credibility and relationships with client decision makers, know their business, their industry, their culture, and their top prioritiesCreate an environment of extreme customer focus within the teamBe a decision maker regarding conflicting customer priorities/requirementsBe an advocate for customers within NTT DATA Business SolutionsTimely response to and acceptable resolution of customer escalationsRenewal and expansion of contractual relationshipsEducate consultants regarding value propositions, offerings, and implementation strategiesProactively contribute to the deployment of the project implementation methodologyContribute to NTT DATA Business Solutions growth objectives by providing mentoring to new and existing employeesProactively contribute to the effective development of consultantsBe an advocate for the consultants, convince customers of 'right resource right role' where appropriateLeverage resources in other groups as appropriate to deliver work (Support, Field Consulting, Outsourcing, Subcontractors, global NTT DATA Business Solutions resources, etc.)SkillsBachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in Information Technology or related field of study is required for this position5 years of experience (OR Masters and 4 years exp) as a Project Manager on ERP implementations, which must have included 4 years cross-functional SAP implementation management experienceMinimum of one S/4 HANA or one cloud project implementation experienceAbility to lead strategic workshops with clientsStrong project management skillsAdvanced degreeProject Management training and certificationCompany OverviewWe understand the business of our clients and know what it takes to transform it into the future.
