[Remote] SAP Payroll Configuration Consultant

They are seeking experienced SAP Payroll Configuration Consultants to support U.S. Payroll implementations and ongoing support initiatives, responsible for end-to-end payroll configuration and collaboration with integration leads to ensure seamless data flow.ResponsibilitiesPerform hands-on configuration of SAP Payroll (U.S.), ensuring alignment with approved payroll design documents and business requirementsLead and execute configuration tasks including:Tax model setupWage type configurationGeneral Ledger (GL) posting setupGross-up calculationsSupport the Payroll Lead Consultant and act as a backup for assigned tasks and responsibilitiesLead small-scale payroll implementations, managing configuration, testing, and deploymentOptimize key payroll processes including:Gross-to-net calculationsTax reporting and complianceGarnishment setup and managementThird-party remittancesYear-end activitiesAccrual setupConduct parallel payroll testing, troubleshooting issues, and resolve integration challengesDevelop and refine custom operations, rules, and user exits as neededApply support packs and maintain system performance and complianceCollaborate with integration leads to ensure seamless integration with SAP FI, Time Management, Benefits, Compensation, and third-party systemsWork cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end payroll process efficiencyCommunicate progress, risks, and issues clearly to project management and stakeholdersProvide documentation and support for testing, training, and post-go-live activitiesSkillsMinimum 7+ years of hands-on experience configuring SAP Payroll (ECP or HCM) with a strong focus on U.S. PayrollProven experience in: Tax model setup and BSI Tax Factory integrationProven experience in: Wage type configuration and payroll catalog setupProven experience in: GL posting configurationProven experience in: Gross-up calculations and off-cycle payroll processingProven experience in: Garnishment configuration and managementProven experience in: Month-end accrual setupSuccessful delivery of at least 3+ full lifecycle SAP Payroll implementationsStrong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional and remote teamsHighly self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environmentSelf-driven, proactive, and adaptable in navigating complex configurationsSkilled at building consensus and maintaining alignment across diverse, global teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality results quicklyBenefitsHealth coverageWellbeing programsPaid leave (vacation, sick, parental)Retirement plansLearning opportunitiesBonus and/or incentive eligibility are determined by role and levelContinuing education & trainingCompany OverviewStrada is a payroll and tech company that offers workforce management with cloud solutions and services for multinational organizations.
