[Remote] SAP Functional Consultant

Marathon TS is seeking a highly experienced SAP Transportation Management Functional Consultant to support the Agile TM Team on the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS). This role is critical for designing maritime transportation capabilities that support global force projection and cargo movement, while working within an Agile team to translate complex operational requirements into SAP TM solutions.ResponsibilitiesServe as the SAP Transportation Management (TM) functional SME for ocean freight, maritime logistics, and sealift operationsDesign and configure SAP TM solutions for ocean freight planning, booking, execution, vessel scheduling, routing, capacity management, and freight settlementSupport multi-modal transportation processes integrating sea, land, port, staging, and warehouse operationsApply knowledge of DoD Strategic Sealift, military cargo movement, commercial maritime logistics, and port embarkation/debarkation processes to SAP TM solution designLead integration between SAP TM and related systems/modules, including SD, EWM, Yard Logistics, FI/CO, and FMTranslate operational requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and configuration designsConduct fit-gap analysis between current maritime transportation processes and SAP TM capabilitiesSupport Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, testing, and retrospectivesLead/support SIT, UAT, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization for maritime transportation scenariosIdentify process improvements to enhance transportation visibility, planning accuracy, freight cost tracking, and execution performanceSupport transportation data integrity, shipment status accuracy, reporting, dashboards, and issue resolutionSkillsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field8+ years of SAP functional experience, with deep specialization in SAP Transportation Management (TM)Proven experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, preferably in large, complex environmentsStrong understanding of end-to-end transportation and logistics operationsAbility to facilitate workshops, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus across diverse teamsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsCompany OverviewMarathon TS provides a full range of consulting & manpower services for clients that needs support from skilled and experienced individuals.
