[Remote] SAP DevOps Engineer

The SAP DevOps Engineer will design, configure, and maintain a DevSecOps pipeline for SAP applications, collaborating with various teams to ensure a secure and efficient development lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to automate build, test, and deployment processesIntegrate and manage toolchains including Jira, SAP Solution Manager (Solman) CHaRM, SonarQube, and Fortify DASTCollaborate with SAP ABAP developers, functional teams, and security stakeholders to translate requirements into automated pipeline capabilitiesConduct analysis of alternative DevOps tools and recommend modern, open‑source solutions to enhance the pipelineCreate and maintain detailed documentation for pipeline configurations, architecture, and development team usageManage automated testing and security scanning workflows, ensuring code quality and security complianceProvide strategic guidance on the evolution of the DevSecOps platform, including enhancements, scaling, and new tool integrationsMentor and train team members on DevOps best practices and effective use of the pipelineSkills5–7+ years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering roleProven experience designing and managing complex CI/CD pipelines, preferably in GitLabHands‑on experience with Jira, SonarQube, Fortify (or similar SAST/DAST tools), and pipeline automationStrong understanding of DevSecOps principles and implementing security in automated pipelinesExperience integrating testing frameworks and automated security scanningStrong documentation, analytical, and troubleshooting skillsU.S. Citizenship requiredMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearanceExperience working in SAP environments, including SAP transport management and Solman CHaRMExperience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with SAP development lifecycles and ABAP development pipelinesBenefitsCertificationsIndustry trainingAccenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits.
