[Remote] SAP Data Migration Engineer

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Engineer to design, execute, and support large-scale data migration initiatives within SAP S/4HANA environments, focusing on the full data migration lifecycle to ensure accurate and compliant migration of enterprise data from legacy systems into SAP.ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute SAP data migration strategies for S/4HANA implementations, including conversion and greenfield scenariosPerform data extraction from legacy systems using SAP-provided and custom tools and prepare data for ingestion into SAPConfigure and utilize SAP LTMC (Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit), including custom migration objects where requiredImplement real-time replication scenarios using SAP SLT (System Landscape Transformation), including transformation rules and filter conditionsManage logical system setups and replication configurations for hybrid SAP environmentsSupport system refreshes and landscape virtualization activities using SAP LVM (Landscape Virtualization Management)Design and execute data transformation, cleansing, and enrichment processes prior to migrationDevelop comprehensive validation and reconciliation reports to ensure data accuracy and completenessIdentify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicates, and orphan records prior to go-liveSupport mock migrations, dress rehearsals, and the final cutover, including detailed runbook execution and rollback planningOptimize performance for large-volume data loads, including parallelization, package sizing, and database tuningCollaborate with functional teams to validate master and transactional data against business expectationsEnsure compliance with enterprise data governance, audit, and privacy standardsMaintain comprehensive, current technical documentation — including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures — so that the system remains supportable, auditable, and easy to onboard new engineers onto over timeSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical disciplineFive or more years of SAP data migration experienceStrong hands-on experience with SAP LTMC and S/4HANA migration toolsExperience with SAP SLT replication scenariosWorking knowledge of SAP LVM for system refresh and landscape managementStrong understanding of SAP master and transactional data structuresExperience performing data validation and reconciliation processesStrong SQL and data analysis skillsExperience working in enterprise SAP landscapes during major implementationsStrong troubleshooting and documentation skillsExperience participating in S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield implementationsExposure to SAP Data Services or other ETL platformsExperience with high-volume, multi-source data migrationsWorking knowledge of SAP HANA database structuresSAP S/4HANA certificationBenefitsCompetitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits.Full-time, direct W2 with Bright Vision Technologies (no C2C, no 1099, no third-party)Company OverviewBright Vision Technologies is an information technology company that offers software development, AI, and cybersecurity services.
