[Remote] SAP ARIBA Sourcing & Contracts Consultant (No VISA Sponsorship)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cognitus is seeking a Senior Consultant for SAP Ariba Contracts and Sourcing, responsible for leading and delivering implementations integrated with SAP S/4HANA. The role focuses on designing scalable solutions and ensuring seamless integration between Ariba and S/4HANA. Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end implementations of SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contracts integrated with SAP S/4HANA • Design and configure Ariba Sourcing (RFX, Auctions, Templates, Scoring) and Ariba Contracts (Authoring, Clause Library, Templates, Workflow) • Translate business and legal requirements into Ariba and S/4HANA–aligned solutions • Drive solution architecture decisions in collaboration with SAP S/4HANA functional and technical teams • Design and support Ariba–S/4HANA integrations including: • Supplier and master data integration • Contract workspace to Purchase Contract replication • Sourcing to PO and downstream procurement flows • Work with SAP Integration Suite / CPI or Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) • Support configuration of S/4HANA procurement processes aligned with Ariba sourcing and contracts • Lead functional workshops, blueprinting, and design reviews • Manage testing cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT) and resolve integration defects • Support data migration, cutover, and go-live readiness • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and SAP best practices • Act as trusted advisor to Procurement, Legal, and IT stakeholders • Provide solution guidance on strategic sourcing and contract lifecycle management • Prepare functional design documents, integration specs, and user training materials • Mentor junior consultants and review functional deliverables • Support hypercare and post–go-live optimization • Contribute to pre-sales activities, demos, and solution proposals Skills • 10+ years of SAP Ariba experience with strong focus on Contracts and Sourcing • Proven track record of multiple full-cycle Ariba implementations integrated with SAP S/4HANA • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Procurement (MM / Sourcing & Procurement) • SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contracts configuration • Deep understanding of Ariba–S/4HANA integration architecture • Experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and/or CIG • Knowledge of master data, pricing conditions, and contract replication • Familiarity with Public vs Private Cloud S/4HANA differences Company Overview • Cognitus, An IBM Company, combines deep expertise with a passion for innovation to help businesses thrive in today's dynamic market with cutting-edge cloud capabilities.
