ICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, and they are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of a mission-critical Salesforce-based SaaS solution for the US Department of Homeland Security. The QA Engineer will develop and execute test plans, validate system functionality, and ensure compliance with federal security standards.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate Salesforce-based system functionality, workflows, and integrationsPerform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure the solution meets stakeholder requirements and federal compliance standardsValidate data migration from legacy systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completenessCollaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements, user stories, and system workflows to design effective test strategiesIdentify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, ensuring timely resolution and retestingParticipate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews) to provide quality assurance insights and align testing with sprint goalsSupport user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate training materials to ensure usability and adoptionCreate and maintain QA documentation, including test results, defect reports, and quality metrics, for gate reviews and project deliverablesContribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and coverageSkills4+ years as a Quality Assurance Engineer developing, documenting, and executing application test plans and scripts for software development projects1+ years working on a large Salesforce implementation3+ years of experience and proven proficiency with Agile project management tools (Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite1+ years of experience delivering user training or creating technical documentationCandidate must have a Public Trust or an Active Secret clearanceU.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirementsCandidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.SCandidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) yearsExperience testing Salesforce solutions for federal government clients, particularly DHS or DoDFamiliarity with cybersecurity compliance testing and ATO processesExperience testing compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation ActExperience with automated testing tools for Salesforce environmentsPrior experience delivering user training or creating technical documentationCompany OverviewICF is a global consulting and technology services provider focused on making big things possible for our clients.
