developers.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and goalsCollaborate with the technical lead in the technical design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practicesDevelop and maintain relationships with clients and senior leadershipCollaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and business needs in order to provide recommendations for technical specifications and solutionsIntentionally cultivate a collaborative environment that encourages creative problem solving from all involved partiesDevelop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and other custom codeIntegrate Salesforce with other systems and third-party applications using APIs and middlewareProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team membersConduct regular system audits and prepare for Salesforce releases, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptionTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrationsStay up-to-date with Salesforce advancements and industry trends to continuously improve our Salesforce environmentParticipate in pre-sales activities, including providing technical expertise and assisting with solution demonstrationsDevelop and implement reusable components and scalable solutions that can be adapted across multiple client projectsParticipate in our knowledge-sharing culture by contributing to internal documentation and best practicesSkillsMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer in a nonprofit organization, higher education institution, or consultancy supporting nonprofitsSalesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II, and/or Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect are highly desirableStrong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIsComfortability managing multiple projects at a time with fast turnaround timesExperience with data migration, integration tools, and ETL processes, including Mulesoft, Talend, Dell Boomi, etcExcitement for finding creative solutions to complex technical problemsExperience and willingness to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with your team and across teamsPassion for nonprofit and/or higher education work and a commitment to using technology for social goodKnowledge of nonprofit fundraising or higher education development/advancementMeticulous attention to detail, strict adherence to development standards,
