This is a hands-on Salesforce leadership role focused on development, DevOps, and production support while improving system performance and reliability.ResponsibilitiesLead hands-on Salesforce development including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and VisualforceReview code and enforce best practices, coding standards, and platform governanceOwn and manage CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and release processesDrive the roadmap for system performance, scalability, and overall platform healthSupport production operations, troubleshoot issues, and partner with cross-functional teamsMonitor system performance and proactively address risks, vulnerabilities, and technical debtEvaluate Salesforce platform updates and assess impact across the environmentContribute to continuous improvement of DevOps processes and automation workflowsSkills5–8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experienceStrong expertise in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Web ComponentsExperience with integrations and middleware in cloud-based environmentsProven track record supporting production environments and resolving complex issuesExperience with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Flosum)Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, security models, and design patternsExperience working with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud (Service Cloud preferred)Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer I/II) strongly preferredBenefitsBonus401(k) MatchFull BenefitsFlexible working model (fully remote with optional hybrid)Company OverviewJames Search Group (JSG) is a Recruitment Consultancy founded on 20 years of recruiting experience, specialising in Insurance, Technology and Financial Services recruiting.
