The role involves engaging with stakeholders to define data-related business outcomes, conducting data assessments, and leading data migration efforts to enhance data quality and governance within Salesforce.ResponsibilitiesEngage customer stakeholders to understand data-related business outcomes, reporting needs, and define measurable success criteria for data quality, completeness, and accessibilityArticulate the value of data-driven Salesforce solutions, including data governance, migration strategies, and analytics capabilitiesLead discovery and data assessment sessions to inventory legacy systems, data sources, data quality issues, and transformation requirementsAnalyze, profile, and map source data to Salesforce data models, identifying relationships, dependencies, and data integrity constraintsPerform detailed data mapping, transformation logic definition, and reconciliation planning between source and target systemsConduct fit-gap analysis between existing data structures and Salesforce standard/custom objects and recommend optimal data model designDefine and document data migration strategies, including data cleansing, deduplication, enrichment, and validation processesDevelop and maintain data migration artifacts such as data dictionaries, mapping documents, conversion plans, and reconciliation reportsCollaborate with technical teams to execute data migrations using tools such as Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, ETL platforms, and integration frameworksDesign and validate test scenarios for data migration, including unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)Monitor and resolve data migration issues, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business rulesSupport the development of reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions to enable business insights and performance trackingCollaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders in an Agile or Hybrid-Agile environment to iteratively refine data requirements and deliverablesDevelop data governance frameworks, including data stewardship roles, data quality standards, and ongoing data maintenance processesDeliver training and documentation to enable end users to effectively manage and utilize migrated data within SalesforceWork with the Guidehouse Project Manager to manage data migration activities within scope, budget, and timeline expectationsSkillsBA/BS degreeA minimum of FIVE (5) years of work experience, with a strong focus on data analysis and migration projectsExperience leveraging AI-enabled tools and accelerators to automate data profiling, mapping, cleansing, and validation, and to enhance data quality insights and migration outcomesHands-on experience with Salesforce data management tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, Workbench)Experience with data migration methodologies, including profiling, cleansing, mapping, validation, and reconciliationExperience working with large datasets, multiple legacy systems, and complex data transformationsStrong understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and data architecture principlesExperience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, MuleSoft, Talend, SSIS, or equivalent) and integration patternsExperience performing data quality analysis, including deduplication, normalization, and enrichment strategiesExperience writing data mapping documents, migration plans, and reconciliation reportsFamiliarity with data governance frameworks and best practicesExperience supporting testing cycles (SIT, UAT) with a focus on data validationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExperience working in Agile or Hybrid-Agile environmentsUS Citizenship is contractually required for this roleAbility to work in a hybrid environmentMinimum of ONE (1) current Salesforce Certification (Admin, App Builder, or relevant Cloud certification) is preferredExperience in a “Big 4” or equivalent consulting firm and/or Salesforce Platinum partnerExperience with public sector clients, especially involving legacy system modernization and data conversion effortsExperience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Health Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud data modelsFamiliarity with MuleSoft or other integration platforms for data orchestrationExperience supporting large-scale data migrations (millions of records, multiple systems)Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, CRM
