[Remote] Sales/Account Executive

They are seeking an Account Executive who has experience in selling professional services in the accounting and finance sector, responsible for managing the full sales process and expanding client relationships.ResponsibilitiesLead consultative conversations with founders, accountants, and finance leaders to uncover their goals and challengesManage the full sales cycle — from qualification to proposal to close — with precision and follow-throughCollaborate with internal finance and accounting teams to scope accurate, customized engagementsIdentify and support renewal and expansion opportunities within existing client relationshipsMeet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through consistent, relationship-driven performanceMaintain clear, accurate pipeline visibility in HubSpot, ensuring timely updates and proactive follow-upGenerate new opportunities through outreach, community engagement, and partnerships within the startup and accounting ecosystemsRepresent Graphite at select events, building relationships and identifying prospectsContribute to ongoing improvement of sales processes and playbooks, sharing insights to help refine our approachSkills3+ years in B2B sales, ideally selling accounting, CFO, finance, or other professional servicesPassion for startups and an understanding of their unique challenges and opportunities is a plusProven success in both new business and expansion/renewal sales — you know how to grow accounts as well as land themDeep understanding of how finance and accounting functions operate — you can hold your own in conversations about cash flow, forecasting, or client capacityExperience working in HubSpot (preferred) or other CRM tools to manage a structured sales processExcellent communication and relationship-building skills — you lead with curiosity and insightStrong organization and time management; able to juggle multiple priorities and maintain momentum across dealsComfort in a startup environment where agility, adaptability, and initiative are keyWillingness to travel occasionally for client or industry eventsExperience working in HubSpot (preferred) or other CRM tools to manage a structured sales processBenefitsFlexible PTO to enjoy life outside of workInsurance coverage (health, vision, and dental)Access to many professional development opportunitiesCompetitive compensation packages401k matchCompany OverviewThe #1 Team Startups Rely On For Accounting, CFO & Tax.
