The Sales Project Manager, Logistic Systems serves as the primary liaison between customers and BEUMER teams, ensuring seamless coordination of techno-commercial activities and supporting the development of logistics solutions.ResponsibilitiesBecome an expert in BEUMER products and applicationsStay up to date on industry trends and developmentsUnderstand customer requirements and business objectives and recommend appropriate products and solutions to meet their needsAnalyze customer requirements to identify system design needsSupport Systems Engineering Team to design end-to-end logistics solutions, including conveyor systems, sortation systems solutions using 2D and 3D CADAnalyze logistics workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, proposing optimizations and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costsSupport the team to calculate throughput, performance, functionalities etc. of the proposed solutions and compare them against customer goals/objectivesCustomize and configure products to meet customer-specific requirements, including developing prototypes, conducting feasibility studies, and performing testing and validationLead pre-sales collaboration efforts with Sales, Systems Engineering, Operations and Software/Controls departments to design and develop robust system solutionsServe as the primary senior technical & commercial point of contact for customers, offering expert pre-sales and post-sales supportCoordinate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and operations staff, to ensure successful proposal developmentLead the hand-over process from sales to operations ensuring smooth coordination between all parties involved while maintaining the customer relationship. correct design parameters for the proposed solutionCreate technical and commercial presentations for the sales teamEnsure sales team is well supported with the technical and commercial topicsAct as customer's representative ensuring smooth coordination and achievement of customer goalsStay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in logistic systems and supply chain managementAttend and support the sales team with client meetings and calls as required, providing expert technical guidanceSkillsBachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with project management skills5+ years of experience in technical sales or systems engineering, with a focus on warehouse automationProven experience in leading technical projects and teamsStrong time management and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh computer literacy in MS Office SuiteFamiliarity with 2D and 3D modeling like AutoCAD and SolidEdgeExceptional mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong active listening skills for customer satisfaction and technical insightDemonstrated ability to set and meet goals, work collaboratively, and care for team membersMaster's degree preferredPreferred experience with automated systems and MS Excel/VBA programmingBenefitsMedical & Dental Premiums:We cover 100% of the premiums for you and your eligible dependents.401(k) with Generous Match:Secure your financial future with our competitive retirement plan.Life Insurance / Long Term Disability:Peace of mind for you and your loved ones.
