This role focuses on leading statistical forecasting and demand orchestration across key retail accounts, requiring strong modeling capabilities and cross-functional influence.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage a rolling 12-month statistical forecast by channel, incorporating both constrained and unconstrained viewsBuild bottoms-up demand models using historical trends, seasonality curves, promotional lift, pricing shifts, and distribution changesContinuously refine forecasting methodologies to improve accuracy and predictabilityIdentify forecast bias, risk, and volatility, and recommend corrective actionsServe as the internal owner of demand planning inputs across Sales channelsLead preparation of demand review materials for SIOP, including risks, opportunities, and scenario analysisAlign channel-level forecasts with Business Units, Sales leadership, and Supply ChainPresent consolidated demand views and provide clear recommendations to leadershipDrive cross-functional accountability for forecast inputs and assumptionsAnalyze and quantify key demand drivers including: Distribution gains/losses, Promotional lift and event timing, Pricing changes and elasticity, Seasonal curves and category cyclicality, Weather impact modeling, Assortment shifts and new item introductionsDevelop scenario-based planning to account for volatility and riskPartner with BI and analytics teams to enhance modeling capabilitiesDesign and implement standardized forecasting templates and processes across channelsCreate consistent forecasting frameworks that support Sales, Business Units, and OperationsImprove governance around forecast updates, revisions, and communication cadenceEstablish best practices for statistical modeling and forecast review cyclesProvide analytical insights to support Sales strategy and seasonal planningTranslate demand signals into actionable guidance for Supply Chain and OperationsSupport inventory optimization and service-level performance through improved forecast accuracyServe as a thought partner to Sales leadership on demand trends and risk mitigationSkills5–8+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Sales Operations, Forecasting, Business Analytics, or Supply Chain AnalyticsStrong experience building statistical forecasts and managing rolling demand modelsDemonstrated ability to analyze structural demand drivers (distribution, pricing, promotion, weather, seasonality)Advanced Excel skills required; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) strongly preferredStrong quantitative and analytical mindset with ability to translate complex data into business decisionsProven cross-functional influence and stakeholder alignment capabilityBachelor's degree required; quantitative field preferredExperience leading demand review or SIOP preparation preferredExperience in seasonal, consumer product, or retail-driven environments preferredBenefitsFlexible hours and a hybrid work schedule for our corporate teamDog-friendly corporate headquartersCompetitive salaries with bonus potentialA comprehensive benefits package that includes a strong 401(k) matchWellness incentivesRobust health coverageCompany OverviewLasko is proud to be an Consumer good company.
