The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing sales processes, managing sales and partner commissions, and driving data-driven decision-making to enhance operational efficiency within the sales organization.ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the entire sales and partner commissions process, from plan definition and communication through bi-monthly executionEnsure accurate and timely commission calculations in alignment with company policies and incentive structuresCollaborate with finance, sales leadership, and operations to define, refine, and optimize commission structuresCommunicate commission plans and updates effectively to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarityMonitor and improve commission processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and ensure complianceIdentify gaps, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks in the sales process and develop solutions to improve sales productivityStandardize, document, and enhance sales workflows, proactive sales activity management, and proposal developmentImplement AI and automation technologies to streamline sales operations, reduce administrative burden, and accelerate deal velocitySupport forecasting, quota setting, and activity management to optimize sales team performanceDrive CRM optimization and automation to ensure data accuracy and improve visibilityDevelop and manage sales performance dashboards and KPI tracking to provide real-time insights to leadershipUse Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to create clear and actionable sales reportsDeliver regular reports and presentations to senior leadership, providing insights into sales performance, trends, challenges, and opportunitiesIdentify trends and opportunities through data analysis to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiencyServe as the primary data steward for sales, ensuring that teams can access the insights they need to make informed decisionsAct as a bridge between sales, finance, marketing, and operations, ensuring alignment on sales goals and execution strategiesBuild strong relationships with sales leadership, account executives, and partner teams to enhance collaboration and efficiencyEnsure seamless communication and issue resolution across sales and operational teamsChampion a customer-service-oriented approach within the sales operations function to support sales teams effectivelySkills7+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or business operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with at least 3 year managing commissions processesExcellent Microsoft Excel skills and a very detail oriented mindsetAbility to craft SQL queries to extract data from backend database tablesProven ability to own and improve complex business processes, including end-to-end commission managementProven ability to own and improve complex sales processes, including end-to-end commission managementDemonstrated ability to navigate competing priorities and ensure alignment across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environmentDemonstrated experience delivering measurable outcomes, including cost savings and operational improvementsExperience optimizing and managing CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and sales enablement toolsAdvanced proficiency in data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to track metrics and create actionable reportsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience driving data-driven decision-making in sales organizationsExceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organizationDemonstrated experience in forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance analysisA bachelor's degree in business, sales operations, or a related field is requiredExperience implementing AI, automation, and workflow optimization tools for sales efficiency is a plusBenefitsHealth and Welfare (Medical, Dental, Vision)Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital IndemnityEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Life and AD&D InsuranceShort- and Long-Term Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsTransportation and Parking AccountsHealth Savings Accounts (with company contribution)Retirement Planning (401k with matching contribution)Legal BenefitsIdentity Theft ProtectionPet InsuranceWellness Program OfferingsPaid Time Off, accrued per pay period based on years of service starting at 15 days annually.8 Paid Holidays per year, including 1 floating holiday.Company OverviewNet at Work is a Business Management Solution provider for the Chemical Industry.
