Key Responsibilities
Β• Analyze market dynamics to identify potential acquisition opportunities.
Β• Collaborate on the formulation of comprehensive sales and marketing strategies.
Β• Monitor and refine sales and marketing approaches to ensure team accountability and outstanding outcomes.
Β• Oversee the development and implementation of actionable sales and marketing plans.
Β• Utilize diverse sales and marketing tools to optimize RevPAR and total revenue.
Β• Assist in corporate rate negotiations and the deployment of the sales team.
Β• Support recruitment and development efforts for the sales team.
Β• Aid in the establishment and management of marketing budgets.
Β• Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
Β• Evaluate the effectiveness of the sales bonus program.
Β• Participate in sales calls and provide training to sales managers and team members.
Β• Optimize and prioritize sales department activities to ensure accountability to goals and quotas.
Β• Communicate key rate strategies and group booking initiatives to stakeholders.
Β• Assess the return on investment for promotional events, marketing expenditures, trade shows, and industry conferences.

Required Skills
Β• Extensive experience in sales and marketing within multi-unit, branded hotels.
Β• A minimum of 10 years in a Director of Sales & Marketing role with mid to large-sized hotels.
Β• Proficient in general sales techniques and strategies.
Β• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Β• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Β• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Β• Capacity to manage pressure and navigate multiple priorities simultaneously.
Β• Proven leadership abilities in overseeing diverse teams.
Β• Capability to propel both strategic initiatives and their execution.
Β• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
Β• A college degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Qualifications
Β• Significant background in sales and marketing within a hotel environment.
Β• Minimum of 10 yearsΒ’ experience in a leadership role in the hospitality industry.
Β• Experience with third-party management preferable.
