Twin Rivers Paper Company is seeking a Technical & Packaging Sales Manager responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing customers and growing new profitable sales volumes. The role involves developing client relationships, executing prospecting plans, and collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs.ResponsibilitiesProspect for potential new clients and transition this into increased businessCold call as appropriate within a market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging a business networkIdentify potential clients, decision makers within the client’s organizationArrange meetings between client decision makers and company’s leaders/PrincipalsPlan approaches and sales pitches. Work with sales management to develop proposals that speak to client’s needs, concerns and objectivesParticipate in pricing the solution/serviceHandle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriatelyPresent an image that mirrors that of the clientProactively present new products and services to enhance existing relationships for client retentionWork with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needsArrange and participate in internal and external client debriefsEnsure that data is accurately entered and managed with the company’s CRM or other sales management systemForecast sales targets and ensure they are metWork with customer service, marketing and demand planning to ensure that prerequisites are fulfilled within a timely manner (i.e., onboarding documents, credit forms, NBO, Inventory programs, rebate accruals, complaint bottlenecks, forecast updates)SkillsMinimum 3-5 years' experience in technical or packaging sales or equivalentBachelor's degree from an accredited universityStrong computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Salesforce.com)The ability to travel extensively as neededDemonstrated track record of delivering sales results. This includes the ability to identify new customers and or paper products and quickly grow the businessComfort interacting with all levels of customer organizations.
