The role involves acquiring new customers, managing existing accounts, and executing sales strategies within the pharma and life sciences sector.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, target, and win new customers across the pharma and life sciences sectorBuild and execute a structured pipeline generation strategyLead complex, solution-based sales cycles from qualification to closingDevelop strong executive relationships with key decision-makersOwn and expand a defined set of existing customer accountsIdentify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across the Körber portfolioDrive customer success and long-term partnerships in collaboration with delivery and customer success teamsAct as the trusted advisor for digital transformation initiativesDeliver against annual and quarterly sales targets and KPIsMaintain high-quality CRM hygiene (Salesforce) and accurate forecastingManage deal strategy, pricing, negotiation, and contract closureRepresent Körber at industry events, conferences, and customer meetingsProvide market feedback to shape product strategy and positioningSkills5–10+ years of experience in B2B enterprise software salesProven track record in new business acquisition (“hunter mentality”)Strong experience in account management and revenue expansionIndustry knowledge in pharma and life sciencesExperience selling complex, high-value solutionsDemonstrated success in multi-stakeholder, long sales cyclesStrong consultative and value-based selling approachFluent Italian and English language skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to operate at C-level and influence decision-makingHigh level of self-motivation and ownership mindsetAnalytical and structured approach to pipeline managementTeam-oriented, collaborative mindsetCompany OverviewSupply chains are growing more complex by the day.
