Colibri Group is a leading provider of Online Insurance Education for Insurance and Securities Licensing, and they are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their Insurance team. This role involves new client acquisition and long-term account management, requiring a candidate with a strong background in insurance or financial services sales.ResponsibilitiesScheduling appointments and meeting existing customers in order to identify and qualify potential prospects and present current product offers and to send a follow up email the next day addressing outstanding/follow up questionsEffective planning to conduct sales presentations by meeting customers physically (either on site or by virtual call) on daily basisProvide professional demonstrations or presentations of Company products and services while onsite or virtuallyLiaising between the Company and the customers for up-to-date pricing, service, and latest product-release launchesIdentifying and qualifying prospective customers through research, networking, and cold-callingComplete outbound prospect calling dailyFollow-up on ALL inbound leads and marketing-sourced leads within 24 hours of receipt in CRMFollow-up calls for current prospects including continuously updating all prospects on Company product modifications, changes, and enhancementsEnhancing up-to-date knowledge on new products, procedures, services, and tools by attending departmental and training meetingsMaintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the Company in a positive mannerEffectively attending conferences and trade shows, where applicableUsing marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management toolsPreparing reports for sales and marketing and maintaining accurate expense accountsUpdating and maintaining customer account records, including contact names and numbers for future salesProviding product quotes to customers as neededAggressively following up on business opportunitiesRegular (weekly or biweekly) 1:1 with your direct manager, and periodic pipeline updates with senior managementSkillsMinimum of a B.A./B.S. degreeStrong technical/software aptitude5+ years successful experience in sales and account managementExperience selling and negotiating at C-levelSolid experience breaking into new accountsProven track record of achieving high growth against ambitious targets5-8 years' experience, preferably with knowledge of the insurance and/or financial services landscapeUnderstanding of competitive offerings, software and technologies, and their place in the marketStrong managerial, communications, analytical, organizational project management and planning skillsStrong written/oral communication and presentation skills, including presenting to large audiencesCompany OverviewColibri Group is building the future of professional education by empowering professionals to achieve more, adapt, and thrive in their careers.
