[Remote] Sales Manager II - WAVE Job

The Sales Manager II role is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and converting project opportunities in the data center, containment, and mission-critical markets within a defined geographic territory.ResponsibilitiesOwn and develop a defined geographic territory to achieve annual sales growth targets and profitability goalsBuild and maintain a strong project pipeline within data center, containment, and mission critical marketsIdentify, pursue, and close project-based opportunities through all relevant market channelsSupport specification positioning with engineers, architects, and owners to secure WAVE solutions in project designActively track projects from early design through installation and closeoutDevelop and maintain relationships with Distributors, General Contractors, Subcontractors, Integrators, Engineers, Architects, Owners/End Users, and Data Center DevelopersConduct regular territory planning and customer call activity to increase market penetrationDeliver technical sales presentations and product training to customersPosition WAVE (Armstrong/Worthington) as a trusted partner for integrated ceiling and data center solutionsExecute established segment sales strategies within the assigned territoryMonitor competitor activity and alternative construction methods within the territoryProvide field-level market feedback to Product Management and Marketing teamsMaintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and customer activity reporting in CRM (Salesforce)Coordinate with Armstrong Sales Managers, Integrated Solutions group and Sales Managers, Marketing Representatives, and Product Managers to support project executionSkillsHigh school diploma/GED required5–10 years of B2B sales experience in construction, mission critical, or data center marketsProven track record of achieving territory sales targetsExperience selling through project-based and multi-channel construction environmentsStrong technical selling, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and manage a defined geographic territoryProficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce (or similar CRM systems)Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field preferredBenefitsHealth, dental, and life insuranceVacationQuarterly profit sharingA 401(K) PlanCompany OverviewArmstrong World Industries is a producer of flooring products and ceiling systems.
