[Remote] Sales Manager

The role involves developing customer relationships, managing channel partners, and delivering effective sales reporting.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all sales related activities for Water & Power opportunitiesDevelops and maintains relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel PartnersEffectively manages local channel partners (Manufacturer’s Representatives and Distributors) and maximizes the performance of these channelsMonitors and pursues project sales as well as service and aftermarket sales at existing customersFirst responder to customer needs, while also engaging with and assisting the company’s Factory Service GroupDelivers effective reporting / Rotork Customer Engagement (CRM) to ensure that data relating to their sales activities is recorded and shared with others when neededKeeps informed about our competitive position and the actions of competitorsWorks in co-operation with the Manager and other Area Sales Managers to develop a sales plan that is aligned with the goals of the CompanyResponsible for providing regular business forecasts for all products and servicesGenerates monthly sales reports with the regional sales manager which can be used to accurately project a business forecastSkillsProven ability to coordinate sales of products and services across capital projects, resellers, and end usersExperience managing and supporting a channel partner networkEngineering or similar technical degree, with a preferred background in electrical systemsKnowledge of valves and actuators, with experience in engineered industrial automation or process equipment salesFamiliarity with the municipal market is a strong advantageProven experience selling engineered industrial products through both direct and indirect channels, with a focus on relationship-based salesStrong proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office to support efficient sales processes and reportingExcellent interpersonal, tactful, and diplomatic communication skills with staff, customers, and suppliersHighly self-motivated and independent, with strong planning, organization, and time-management abilitiesKnowledge of the water and wastewater market, with a track record of driving customer loyalty, revenue growth, and profitabilityCompany OverviewRotork is a FTSE-250 global leader in mission-critical flow control and instrumentation solutions, trusted by the world’s most essential industries - including oil & gas, water & wastewater, power generation, chemical processing, and industrial manufacturing.
