They are seeking a Sales Executive to promote Group and Voluntary Benefit solutions to agents, brokers, and employers in Southern California, while maintaining strategic relationships and achieving sales goals.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strategic business relationships with brokerage firms, consulting houses, General Agencies (GA’s) and PEOsMeet or exceed activity goals as it relates to new client meetings, quote activity, relationship management and annual premium sales goalsResponsible for generating proposals for Group Life, Dental, Disability, Vision, Critical Illness, Accident, & Hospital Indemnity and State Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML) clients in target market of 20-500+ lives in designated territoryProvide consultative analysis and recommendations to distribution channel partners and prospective clientsConstruct and maintain a business plan for your designated territory based on sales and strategic initiativesBuild long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experienceMeet or exceed assigned premium, proposal activity and meeting targets monthly, quarterly and annuallyCoordinate and track client events, meetings, appointments, and conferencesCoordinate with the Regional Account Manager on the delivery of all proposalsRemain current on company offerings and industry trends through market research, business area meetings, conferences, and industry eventsSkills3+ years of experience and documented success in sales or marketing within the Group Insurance (Employee Benefits Life, Dental, Disability, Vision, Critical Illness, Accident, & Hospital Indemnity and Paid Family Medical Leave)Group Insurance sales experience within Southern CaliforniaLife and Health Insurance state licenses specific to CAA self-motivated, driven individual who is goal oriented and able to take ownership of assigned territory to develop strong, long-term relationshipsExceptional Communication skillsDemonstrated ability to develop trust and credibility easily and quickly, with exceptional communication skillsThorough understanding of Equitable Employee Benefits product portfolio and the benefits each one offersAbility to partner with local, regional and national service/account management, underwriting and home office personnelBenefitsVariable compensationFor eligible employees, Equitable provides a full range of benefits.
