[Remote] Sales & Events Coordinator (Growth & Partnerships)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. USITT is an organization founded in 1960 to promote dialogue and learning among theatre design and technology practitioners. The Sales & Events Coordinator (Growth & Partnerships) will support the expansion of USITT's exhibitor and sponsor base through outreach and pipeline development, as well as assist in event execution for the Annual Conference & Stage Expo.ResponsibilitiesConduct outreach to prospective exhibitors, sponsors, and organizational members to generate new business opportunitiesSupport outreach campaigns and engagement strategies to expand partner participationAssist in identifying new markets, industries, and potential partners aligned with USITTβs missionFollow up on leads and inquiries to maintain pipeline momentumMaintain and update prospect and outreach activity within the CRMTrack pipeline progress, engagement, and conversion activitySupport reporting on outreach efforts and pipeline developmentEnsure accurate and timely documentation of all prospect interactionsSupport the development of proposals, sponsorship opportunities, and related materials to move prospects through the sales processAssist in preparing materials and follow-up needed to advance opportunities toward closeCoordinate communications and next steps with prospective partners throughout the sales cycleSupport general conference and event logistics as assigned, in coordination with the Sales & Events teamParticipate in load-in and on-site event execution as part of the Sales & Events teamSupport exhibitor and sponsor needs during eventsAssist in ensuring a positive experience for partners and attendeesSkills2β4 years of relevant experience in events, hospitality, sales, nonprofit administration, or a related fieldStrong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, organization, and follow-throughExcellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with members, exhibitors, sponsors, partners, and internal teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlinesProficiency with spreadsheets, CRM systems, and virtual event platforms or the ability to learn new systems quicklyWillingness to travel occasionally and provide on-site support for events as neededBenefitsPaid vacationSick leaveHolidaysEmployer contributions to medical, dental and retirement plansTravel and housing will be providedCompany OverviewUSITT is an institute for theatre technology that specializes in entertainment design, backstage information sharing, and mentorship.
