The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned territory by selling Desotec’s mobile filter engineered solutions, focusing on identifying customer needs and closing opportunities that deliver value for customers.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed territory revenue targetsSoley focused on delivering sales growth for mobile solutions predominantly with new customers and new or expansion projectsIdentify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across industrial, environmental, and manufacturing sectorsServe as the technical expert on Desotec’s mobile filtration systems, providing consultative support and engineered solution recommendationsConduct on-site customer visits, system assessments, and technical presentationsWork closely with engineering, operations, and customer service teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfactionManage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and closingMaintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reportingStay current on industry trends, regulations, and competitive technologies relevant to activated carbon and mobile filtration systemsRepresent Desotec at trade shows, conferences, and industry events as requiredSkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or related field) preferred; relevant technical experience accepted in lieu of degreeMinimum 3 years of professional sales experience selling either water/wastewater processing, hydrocarbon processing, or air/gas processing, or emissions controlMinimum 3-year technical (engineering, project management, applications) with the ability to understand filtration processes, system design, and industrial applicationsProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to work autonomously in a remote environment and manage territory travelValid driver's license and ability to travel regionally (up to 50–70% depending on territory)Experience with activated carbon, industrial filtration, environmental remediation, emissions treatment, or related technologiesPrior work supporting environmental, chemical, manufacturing, or industrial clientsExperience selling engineered mobile systems or capital solutionsWorking knowledge of commercial terms and conditions to assist in contract negotiationsBenefitsCompetitive compensation package including base salary + performance incentives.Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.).Company vehicle or travel allowance.Training and professional development within a growing global organization.Opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping customers improve environmental and operational performance.Company OverviewDESOTEC uses activated carbon technology to help industrial and environmental customers purify gases and liquids.
