[Remote] Sales Engineer – Functional Safety Engineering (US)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Reynolds & Moore is a global functional safety engineering firm specializing in emerging technologies, including automation, robotics, and AI-driven systems across multiple industries. They are seeking 1–2 Sales Engineers to support both engineering and sales by working with clients to understand safety requirements and deliver tailored functional safety engineering services.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with clients to uncover technical and safety needs and translate them into tailored project proposals
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to proposal drafting, negotiation, and project handover
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define statements of work, effort estimates, and technical deliverables
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in CRM, ensuring structured records for effective account management
• Attend conferences, exhibitions, and client workshops as a representative of Reynolds & Moore, with travel expected 10–20% of the time
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic accounts
Skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, with proven experience engaging directly with clients and lead generation
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies such as automation, robotics, and AI-driven systems
• Strong communication skills, with proven ability to build and maintain client relationships essential for consultancy sales
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, international working environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or other relevant experience
• Background in functional safety or safety-related products is a plus
