[Remote] Sales Engineer

Rubicon Recruiting is partnering with a rapidly growing division of a world-class American manufacturer to identify a Utility Pole Sales Engineer supporting electrical utilities, consulting engineers, EPC firms, and infrastructure partners across the United States. The role involves providing technical expertise related to utility pole applications and supporting specification development for various infrastructure projects.ResponsibilitiesPartner with consulting engineering firms, utilities, and manufacturers’ representatives to support utility infrastructure projectsProvide technical expertise related to utility pole applications, loading analysis, and structural solutionsSupport specification development and engineering discussions tied to grid modernization, resiliency, wildfire mitigation, and infrastructure upgradesAssist customers with design considerations, technical evaluations, and product applicationsWork closely with utilities and engineering firms, influencing overhead transmission and distribution projectsAttend national and regional industry trade shows and customer meetingsTravel approximately 5 to 7 overnight stays per monthSkillsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering REQUIREDExperience with utility pole loading, overhead utility design, structural loading analysis, or related utility infrastructure engineering REQUIREDStrong understanding of utility transmission and distribution systemsExperience working with utilities, consulting engineering firms, EPC firms, or utility infrastructure manufacturers strongly preferredExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to engage both technically and professionally with engineers, utilities, and industry stakeholdersComfortable operating in a customer-facing engineering environmentBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plansPaid holidaysPTOTuition reimbursementCompany OverviewRubicon Recruiting, Founded by Ed Beaulieu, the Co-Founder and former President of West Coast Careers for 15+ years.
