The role focuses on acquiring and growing relationships within agency holding companies and independent agencies, emphasizing activation and measurement solutions.ResponsibilitiesDrive net-new business across media agencies, including holding companies and independent agenciesProspect, build, and convert pipeline within agency planning, activation, and investment teamsPosition NIQ audience data within agency workflows, ensuring adoption across campaign planning, targeting, and measurementEvangelize NIQ data within agency ecosystems to increase activation through DSPs, SSPs, and data marketplacesIdentify and unlock activation opportunities, ensuring NIQ audiences are scaled across programmatic campaignsOwn the full sales cycle, from outreach and solutioning through deal negotiation and closeTranslate agency needs into data-driven solutions, connecting insights to activation and measurable outcomesPartner cross-functionally with Product, Partnerships, and Customer Success teams to support activation use cases (e.g., clean rooms, retail media, offsite targeting)Deliver compelling presentations and thought leadership tailored to agency stakeholdersAchieve and exceed new business revenue targets, with a focus on early-stage expansion within agency accountsSkills8+ years of experience in media sales, agency sales, adtech, or data/measurement solutionsProven success selling into media agencies (holding companies and/or independent agencies)Strong understanding of agency planning and buying processes, including activation and measurement workflowsExperience with programmatic ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, data providers) and how data is activated within campaignsBackground in selling audience data, targeting solutions, or measurement capabilitiesEstablished relationships across agency investment, activation, and data/analytics teamsProven track record of net-new business acquisition and pipeline developmentStrong communication, storytelling, and negotiation skillsHighly self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExperience with identity, data onboarding, clean rooms, or retail media networksFamiliarity with data monetization strategies within agency and programmatic environmentsBenefitsComprehensive healthcare plan (medical, Rx, dental, and vision)Flexible spending accounts and a Health Savings Account (including company contributions)Life and AD&D insurance401(k) retirement plan including company matching contributionsDisability insuranceTuition ReimbursementDiscretionary paid time off program and 11 paid holidaysFlexible working environmentVolunteer time offLinkedIn LearningEmployee-Assistance-Program (EAP)Sales-based incentive or performance-based bonusIndustry-leading parental leaveEducation supportCompany OverviewNielsenIQ is a consumer intelligence company that offers retailers and consumer goods manufactures.
