The Sales Director - Healthcare will be responsible for generating sales from new and existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and developing strategic plans for business growth within the healthcare sector.ResponsibilitiesDefine, develop, and implement a sales strategy, which contributes to the corporate sales strategic directionDevelop trust with customer or potential customerUnderstand the Jabil selling process: Prospecting; Preapproach-planning the sale; Approach; Need Assessment; Presentation; Meeting Objections; Gaining commitment; and Follow-upQualify new potential customers with guidance from Sr. ManagementDevelop an understanding of the work cell and business unit strategies as it pertains to salesWork closely with Business Development, Operations, Business Unit, Engineering to build out meaningful growth solutionsKnowledge of SalesForce and its use to target new customersPrepare timely forecasts for the sales departmentProvide customer sales strategies and monitor their progressCompare forward forecast results to historical actual results for trend assessment and analysisCreate customer /product penetration strategies for both new and existing accounts based on product lifecycle analysisInterpret and communicate customer requirements to enable development of services and operational capabilities to support new customers and business opportunitiesDevelop RFQ analysis and present formal presentation to customer; ensure key financial measures are achieved within each quote, including profitability and RONA targetsPromote Jabil’s capabilities, footprint, and servicesLead commercial negotiations with new customersMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedSkillsHealthcare contract manufacturing and or OEM expertise related to growing salesSuccessful track record of growing sales and leveraging customer rolodexAbility to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate regarding technical journals, financial reports, and legal documentsAbility to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directorsAbility to interact at multiple levels within an account and establish or leverage long-term relationshipsAbility to act in the best interest of the client and company to provide sustainable and credible solutionsAbility to understand and negotiate from a PnLAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsStrong financial and analytical ability.
