[Remote] Sales Director
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Terumo Neuro is seeking an Associate Director for North America Sales in the Western Region. The role involves managing a team of sales managers to achieve sales objectives and drive effectiveness in the salesforce while building relationships with key opinion leaders and collaborating with various departments.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of high-performance sales managers with innovative neuroendovascular technologies that provide therapeutic advantages for neurovascular disordersDevelop aligned plans and strategies for business growth and achieve consistent sales and market share objectives within designated geographic area with integrity, to support the North American regional performanceContribute to the design of sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting process to ensure efforts are of highest quality and in line with the company objectivesBuild and expand strong relationships with global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)Travel to customer sites/labs to support and observe clinical cases and training programs and visit physiciansProvide leadership and represent the Company and its brand at conferences, meetings, and tradeshowsEvaluate and make strategic recommendations for new areas of opportunityAttract, develop, and retain a team of Regional and Territory Sales Managers within the designated geographic zone to ensure the quality and care of patientsCollaborate on the design and execution of a sales training, sales compensation, and incentive programsPartner with Strategic Sales and Sales Operations to provide measurable sales metrics, reports, and key market trends to evaluate performanceIntegrate with Marketing, Customer Service, and other functional departments to establish successful support and partner programsOversee the sales process to ensure the achievement of profitable marginsImplement pricing strategies, identify margin improvement opportunities, and work with the finance team to analyze product and service profitabilityCollaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment between sales efforts and product profitabilitySkillsBachelor's degree in a related field of studyA minimum of ten (10) years of medical device and/or life science sales experience or equivalentA minimum of three (3) years of medical device sales management experience or equivalentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient with MS Word, Excel, Teams, and OutlookMBA or an advanced degree in a related field of studyAgile and innovative work styleResilience in a competitive, fast-paced sales environmentAbility to develop relationships openly and effectively with people across all levels, functions, and culturesAbility to consider a variety of alternatives and approaches to overcome barriers and find solutionsBenefitsA robust, performance driven variable structure that rewards your successCompany OverviewWe’re in business to create and deliver innovations that redefine what’s possible in neurovascular treatment, meaningfully advancing both physician practice and patient outcomes.
