They are seeking a Sales Director to drive strategic growth within the Medical & Life Sciences market, focusing on building OEM relationships and leading commercial growth initiatives.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic business development plans focused on Medical & Life Sciences OEM growth opportunitiesBuild and manage a robust pipeline through prospecting, networking, and targeted outreach to engineering, sourcing, and operational stakeholdersLead customer engagements from initial contact through quotation, negotiation, and commercial awardPartner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to align manufacturable solutions with customer requirementsDrive project proposals, cost estimates, account strategy development, and long-term commercial growth initiativesServe as the primary customer contact through new product introduction (NPI) and production launch transitionSupport strategic market analysis including customer demand, competitor activity, emerging technologies, and growth opportunitiesRepresent the organization at trade shows, networking events, and customer-facing industry engagementsSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field preferred7+ years of business development, strategic sales, or technical sales experience within contract manufacturing environmentsProven experience selling into Medical Device, Life Sciences, or other highly regulated manufacturing sectorsStrong understanding of regulated manufacturing environments including precision sheet metal fabrication, metal stamping, quality systems, validation, and traceabilityExperience leading customer strategy from prospecting through production launch and account growthDemonstrated success in a hunter-style business development environmentStrong presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and executive communication skillsExperience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and sourcing teams throughout the sales cycleBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field preferredExisting network within Medical OEMs, Life Sciences manufacturers, or healthcare technology organizations preferredCompany OverviewGPS and Associates is a nationwide investigative background screening corporation with offices in Florida,Tennessee and Michigan.Established in 1990 GPS specializes in criminal and civil background checks nationwide specializing in hands on checks in Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, Virgin Islands and India.
