The Sales Development Representative will focus on outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and securing meetings with potential clients to drive growth and expand the company's reach.ResponsibilitiesConduct high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to engage with prospects, generate interest, and uncover opportunitiesDemonstrate a true hunter mentality by actively seeking new opportunities, confidently asking for meetings, staying persistent, and using strong persuasive skills to convert objections into opportunitiesQualify leads through consultative conversations, understanding their needs, and aligning ProviderSoft’ s solutions as a fitSchedule meetings and product demonstrations for Sales Representatives, ensuring a smooth and effective handoffBuild and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through strategic research, targeted outreach, and database managementCollaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to execute and optimize campaigns aimed at generating new leads and nurturing existing onesMarket research to inform S&M team on industry trends, competitive landscape, and ProviderSoft’ s evolving product offerings to effectively position solutions during prospect interactionsUse market research and VoC to draft marketing campaigns for distributionMaintain detailed and organized records of activities, call notes, and next steps in the CRM systemActively participate in team meetings, sharing insights and best practices to improve outreach strategies and drive resultsMake 60 to 70 outbound cold calls per day to agency administrators, program directors, and decision-makers across target markets to build relationships with decision makersBuild relationships with decision-makers over time and book meetings with qualified prospects for our Account ExecutiveFollow up on inbound inquiries, event leads, and marketing-generated contacts to move prospects through the pipelineQualify prospects using defined criteria and hand off sales-ready leads to the account executive teamMaintain accurate records of all outreach activity, call notes, and prospect status in Insightly CRMParticipate in call coaching and contribute to script refinement based on real conversation feedbackAssist in developing and executing targeted outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and other channelsDraft personalized prospecting messages, email sequences, and campaign copy tailored to specific agency types and statesResearch target markets, identify prospective agencies, and build out prospect lists for active statesSupport competitive intelligence gathering and help maintain battle cards and positioning materialsContribute to content development including case studies, one-pagers, and social posts as neededSkillsExperience in outbound sales, inside sales, or customer service with an outbound calling componentComfortable making 60+ calls per day and maintaining energy and professionalism throughoutStrong written communication skills with the ability to draft clear, personalized outreachOrganized and self-directed, able to manage a high volume of activityProficiency with CRM tools and standard productivity softwareGenuine curiosity about the healthcare and human services space Early Intervention (Birth to Three), Special Education, ABAPride in integrity; ability to build sincere and genuine professional relationshipsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an engaging and persuasive styleA high degree of computer literacy and technical competency, with proficiency in CRM systems and sales enablement toolsCustomer-focused, approachable, and driven to understand client needs and provide tailored solutionsSelf-motivated, results-oriented, and persistent in achieving goalsCompetitive with themselves, collaborative with team members, and supportive of collective successDirect experience or familiarity of or working with Early Intervention/Early Childhood/Special Education programs, whether as an administrator, service coordinator, therapist, or in an operational/billing roleUnderstanding of how Early Intervention/ Preschool/ Special Education agencies are structured, funded, and regulated at the state levelFamiliarity with email marketing platforms and basic campaign execution and outbound salesBenefitsWork remotely with a collaborative, mission-driven teamPlay a visible role in an expanding company with a clear growth trajectoryCompetitive base salary with room to grow as the team scalesDirect access to senior leadership and meaningful input on how the sales and marketing function evolvesServe markets that genuinely impact outcomes for children and familiesWe expect 40 hours of focused, purposeful work each week.
