[Remote] Sales Consultant

They are seeking a Sales Consultant to manage relationships within an assigned portfolio of existing customers, focusing on retention, renewals, and expansion through a consultative approach.ResponsibilitiesRepresent Applied Systems in customer meetings, business reviews, and select industry events to strengthen relationships and drive adoptionOwn customer communication cadence, ensuring timely follow-up on requests, action items, and opportunities across your assigned accountsDevelop and execute account plans that support renewals, retention, and growth; maintain an active pipeline of expansion opportunities across your assigned book of businessLead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and maintain accurate renewal forecasting by tracking account health, risks, milestones, and next steps in partnership with internal teamsProactively prospect within existing accounts (e.g., whitespace mapping, stakeholder expansion, discovery conversations) to identify, qualify, and close up-sell/cross-sell opportunities aligned to customer needs and usage trendsSkills5+ years of successful B2B account management, customer success, or consultative sales experience required; must have demonstrated ability to prospect and drive expansion within an existing customer portfolio; SaaS experience and/or technology solution experience preferredA valid driver's license and safe driving record is requiredAbility to work 100% remotely, home office and reside in one of the following markets: MichiganTravel up to 50% within assigned territoryBachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent work experienceExperience managing renewals, retention, and expansion motions (including negotiation and forecasting) preferredSalesforce, or CRM experience is preferredBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision CoverageHoliday and Vacation TimeHealth & Wellness DaysA Bonus Day for Your BirthdayCompany OverviewApplied Systems is a digital insurance agency that provides software for agency management systems.
