[Remote] Sales Account Manager

ALTOR is a company focused on sales within customer channels, and they are seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive sales and maintain customer satisfaction. The role involves developing new accounts, managing existing relationships, and meeting sales targets.ResponsibilitiesDrive sales to meet and exceed quarterly sales and profitability targetsEffectively draw upon company resources throughout the sales and business development process to always maintain a high level of customer satisfactionProspecting new accounts while maintaining (and growing) existing customer businessRoutinely visit customers within a defined sales planDeveloping trusting customer relationships through consistent sales efforts (and executing on our promises)Making product presentations & training sessions to all targeted customers within the territoryDeveloping key account plans for top accountsProspecting new accounts while maintaining (and growing) existing customer businessWork in conjunction with the sales team while prospecting and developing new businessBeing disciplined with account management review processes and governance (e.g., inventory management /stocking programs, accounts receivable status, and products produced and available for shipment)Maintaining profitability on existing accounts and improving margins where possibleProviding weekly updates of new projects (i.e., a pipeline management update)Participating in pipeline review meetings with sales teamSecuring business via long-term contracts or supply agreements, where possibleHosting calls/meetings across all internal functions (on behalf of new/existing customers)Communicating custom projects to sales and engineering teamsCompleting RFQ form(s) as required to quote customers on new opportunitiesCompleting & submitting monthly sales and opportunity reportsCompleting & submitting monthly expense reports in a timely fashionAll other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree (B.
