[Remote] Sales Account Executive - Agribusiness

They are seeking a Sales Account Executive who will be responsible for developing new business within the feed, grain, and agribusiness sectors, focusing on building relationships and engaging customers through proactive sales efforts.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Ever.Ag solutions, with a primary focus on Prairie SystemsProactively identify, prospect, and engage new customers within the feed, grain, and agribusiness marketsBuild and manage a healthy sales pipeline primarily through outbound efforts and field-based sellingLead customer discovery conversations and deliver compelling, value-based sales presentations in person and virtuallyNavigate long and variable buying cycles common in small and mid-sized agribusinessesEstablish trusted relationships with owners, managers, and operational decision-makersCollaborate with internal stakeholders to structure solutions, negotiate terms, and close dealsAccurately document sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRMAttend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand market presence and generate opportunitiesPartner with Customer Success to support onboarding, adoption, and long-term customer satisfactionProvide market and customer feedback to internal teams to help inform product and service enhancementsTravel frequently to customer sites and territories while adhering to all company safety and driving policiesPerform other related duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) or equivalent practical experienceExperience working in or selling to the agriculture industry is requiredStrong preference for experience within feed, grain, dairy, or livestock-related agribusinessesPrior ag-oriented sales experience is a plus; SaaS experience is helpful but not requiredDemonstrated ability to operate independently, build pipeline from scratch, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously preferredComfort with prospecting, rejection, and long sales cyclesWillingness and ability to travel frequently (average 50%, with some variability)Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle, maintain a valid driver's license, and comply with company driving policiesExperience using CRM tools to track activity and manage opportunities preferredCompany OverviewEverAg is a agtech provider dedicated to empowering agriculture, food, and beverage supply chains to feed a growing world.
