[Remote] Ruby on Rails Developer ( NO C2C )

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Aptonet is seeking a Ruby on Rails developer to join their development team. The role involves building and maintaining custom APIs, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with design to identify risks and propose solutions. Responsibilities • Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code • Developing code, testing, and debugging both new and existing software • Troubleshooting production problems related to existing software applications • Developing, testing, and debugging the integration of third-party services based on project requirements • Consulting with development lead to identify application requirements Skills • Proficient in building Ruby on Rails applications • Experience with recent versions of Ruby On Rails (version 5.0 and later) • Experience with PostgreSQL • Proficiency with GitHub or other version control systems • Familiarity with GraphQL • Strong problem solving & communication skills • Twilio, Elastic Search, and Stripe experience a plus • 5 years of development at least Company Overview • Aptonet delivers innovative IoT, operations research, mobility & web solutions along with staffing services with a focus on professionalism.
