They are seeking an experienced Ross ERP Consultant to help a manufacturing organization maximize the value of its Ross ERP platform, requiring a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and ERP capabilities to drive measurable business improvements.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze the current Ross ERP environment and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency across manufacturing and production teamsEvaluate machine utilization and production capacity data to help establish more effective scheduling, planning, and reporting processesReview existing shop floor workflows and provide recommendations to improve labor productivity and operator performance trackingAssess current quality management processes within Ross ERP and identify opportunities to better support quality assurance initiatives and compliance effortsImprove visibility into manufacturing costs, production output, and operational performance through enhanced reporting and KPI developmentReview how Bills of Material (BOMs) are maintained and utilized, recommending more effective approaches to forecasting, planning, and inventory managementIdentify opportunities to reduce manual spreadsheet-based processes by leveraging ERP functionality and system-driven reportingEvaluate inventory replenishment processes and recommend best practices for automated purchasing and reorder point managementPartner with operations, production, supply chain, quality, and IT teams to gather requirements and prioritize improvementsSupport ongoing ERP administration, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and user guidance as neededCollaborate with technical teams supporting the Oracle database environmentSkills5+ years of hands-on Ross ERP experienceStrong experience supporting Ross ERP 8.0 or similar legacy Ross environmentsExtensive manufacturing and shop floor operations experienceDeep understanding of production scheduling, inventory management, procurement, BOM structures, and manufacturing workflowsExperience analyzing operational metrics and developing actionable process improvement recommendationsFamiliarity with Oracle database environments and ERP reporting structuresStrong business analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skillsAbility to bridge the gap between manufacturing operations and technology solutionsExperience conducting ERP assessments, optimization initiatives, or manufacturing process improvement projectsBackground supporting process manufacturing, food & beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, or industrial manufacturing environmentsExperience implementing manufacturing KPIs, utilization reporting, cost analysis, or production dashboardsKnowledge of forecasting, capacity planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain processesSQL reporting experience and familiarity with ERP data analysisPrevious consulting experience working directly with business leaders and operational stakeholdersBenefitsPaid training/certificationsSchedule flexibilityCompany OvervieweNGINE provides contract staffing, contract to hire, direct hire, quality check, and payroll services.
