[Remote] Risk Control Consultant (Specialist) - Insurance
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I. is seeking a Risk Control Specialist to lead consultative engagements across specialized markets. In this role, you’ll deliver high‑level risk mitigation strategies and develop technical content for complex accounts.ResponsibilitiesProvide risk control insurance services to Church Mutual customers and prospective accounts for a specific market segmentRepresent Risk Control at service capability presentations and customer onboarding sessionsAnalyze data to determine gaps in risk control services/materials to the specialized market and develop and implement solutionsDevelop relevant and unique educational content pertinent to the specific marketConsult with customers, in the assigned market, both in-person and remotely for risk mitigation to reduce losses and strengthen their Risk Control ProgramDevelop content and deliver presentations to assist internal and external customers to better understand the unique risk exposures of the assigned marketAnalyze data and identify gaps in existing service strategies, resources, and training programsDevelop, recommend, and implement needed changesWork with the Underwriting Department to develop risk reduction techniques for the specialty marketWork with the Marketing Department to develop risk control materials for the specialty marketSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience is requiredA minimum of five years of risk control experience with a commercial insurance carrierExtensive knowledge of specialized facility operations and related loss exposures and controls within the specific marketHighly conversant with training materials and programs specific to the needs of the specialized marketMastery in developing presentations and presenting to groupsExcellent verbal and listening skillsExcellent planning skills for service delivery and itinerary managementDemonstrated consulting skills in risk control areaProven ability to analyze data, develop, and implement solutionsProven time management and detailed organizational skillsBachelor's degree in a safety related field is preferredExperience in managing risk control services on large accounts is preferredCompany OverviewOur purpose has remained clear — support our customers, keep them safe and help them continue to serve others.
