[Remote] Risk Analyst

The Risk Analyst role involves gathering, analyzing, and presenting information on risk management initiatives, managing insurance requests, and ensuring compliance with contract provisions.ResponsibilitiesManages all certificate of insurance requests including handling non-standard broker and carrier requests, ensuring new certificates are correct and making modifications as needed to ensure compliance with contract provisionsLeads in designing and advising on business resiliency documents with the field and internal stakeholders, provides guidance for improvement to field office contacts, and maintains accurate documentationHandles security arrangements and inquiries for international travelers; communicates with executives and vendors to review risk levels and determine the appropriate levels of secured journey management to be put into place; anticipates and acts on expedited changes as they occurActs as a subject matter expert on risk-related projects and initiativesGathers quarterly bordereau claims reporting information and provides to leadership and the appropriate broker(s)Analyzes risk management snapshots of each office by auditing information through OneTrustIdentifies risk throughout the organization, developing, reporting, and monitoring on risk management issues; creates reports, summaries, and presentations to communicate findings to key stakeholders within the businessDevelops methodologies for the assessment of risks throughout the organization, collaborates with other team members to effectively analyze and present data, and develops systems and processes for gathering and storing data for future analytic projectsEvaluates physical security audit tracking for ISO standardCollects information on foreign insurance placements on an ongoing basis and keeps tracking documents up to dateLiaises with internal stakeholders to maintain the field office contact listing on a monthly basisReviews contractsPerforms other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Risk Management and Insurance preferredFive (5) years of related experience, to include three (3) years of corporate risk management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredDemonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily deadlines for projectsAbility to manage multiple projects and programs at the same time to complete workCritical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems with dataQuantitative and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand new analytical conceptsExcellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skillsPC literate, including Microsoft Office productsAnalytical and interpretive skillsStrong organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent negotiating skillsAbility to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reportsAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to meet or exceed Performance CompetenciesCompany OverviewSedgwick is the worldโs leading risk and claims administration partner, helping clients thrive by navigating the unexpected.
