They are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to manage the end-to-end revenue lifecycle, ensuring accurate billing, compliance, and cash flow management while collaborating with various teams.ResponsibilitiesBilling & Invoicing Architecture: Own the full billing lifecycle, ensuring all customer invoices are precisely formatted and generated out of NetSuite and Zoho Finance modules in compliance with explicit project terms (including retention billing and unique market thresholds)Contract & SOW Cleansing: Audit in-flight Statement of Work (SOW) documents, purchase orders, and contractual terms upstream to reconcile project margins, confirm project definitions, and match active cost numbers accurately to reporting structuresReverse Billing Administration: Oversee the subcontractor reverse billing lifecycle. Cross-verify physical production and segment footages validated by the field QA/QC team against billing applications before routing for manager approvalsData Integrity & Systems Reconciliation: Pressure-test and trace downstream entries across integrated business platforms (NetSuite, Zoho, and custom portal reporting datasets) to catch and fix line duplications or systematic integration discrepanciesLien Waiver & Compliance Tracking: Manage mandatory compliance documentation for large-scale construction milestones, tracking progress billings, conditional/unconditional lien waiver verification, and the systematic true-up of calculated cash retention roll-offsCash Flow Management: drive positive cash flow by collaborating with customers to ensure invoicing, collections and payment applications are timely and accurateVariance Commentary Support: Assist in building financial narrative components for monthly executive management packs, comparing revenue realization pipelines against forecasted project benchmarksSkillsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a highly analytical business discipline5-7 years of corporate accounting experience, with a heavy emphasis on revenue recognition, billing workflows, or project costingProfessional, hands-on experience navigating comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) landscapes (e.g., NetSuite, Ramp, or enterprise Zoho suites) is requiredAdvanced proficiency with Excel (complex nested lookups, index-matching, and conditional filtering structures) is a mustA natural orientation toward root-cause analysisExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComfortable partnering directly with diverse internal and external stakeholders, from operators out in the field to C-suite executive leadershipPrevious experience within the construction or telecommunications industryStrong organizational and time-management skills with a proven track record of meeting tight deadlinesAbility to work effectively as part of a remote or hybrid teamBenefits10% BonusDay Shift: Monday - FridayRemote (Must be willing to travel 5-10%)Company OverviewMerging together top level expertise from both the utility construction and network operations industries, Glass Roots Construction avoids many of the communication and network deployment pitfalls often experienced by clients who use traditional fiber optic construction firms.
