They are seeking a Retention Marketing Manager to develop and implement strategies for customer retention through email, SMS, and subscriptions, while collaborating with various teams to enhance customer relationships and drive value.ResponsibilitiesOwn retention marketing strategy across email and CRM channelsDefine the campaign calendar, audience segmentation, and messaging prioritiesBrief and direct creative partners — whether in-house or external — on content, A/B testing frameworks, and performance targetsBuild, optimize, and expand lifecycle automations — welcome series, post-purchase, replenishment, winback, re-engagement, and sunset flowsDevelop and refine segmentation strategy using behavioral, purchase, and cohort-level dataTranslate email performance data into actionable strategy shifts across campaigns and flowsManage and grow the SMS channel as a retention and engagement toolCoordinate SMS and email cadence to maximize impact without subscriber fatigueOwn the subscription program end-to-end — strategy, offers, cadence, portal experience, and reportingDesign and test churn intervention flows and save offersDrive subscriber lifetime value and reduce voluntary and involuntary churnTrack and report on retention KPIs including repurchase rate, churn, LTV, and customer cohort performanceMaintain data accuracy and alignment across e-commerce, email, subscription, and attribution platformsSkills2–4 years of experience in DTC retention or lifecycle marketing, ideally in CPG or wellnessHands-on experience building and optimizing email flows and campaignsExperience managing subscription programs and churn reduction strategiesFamiliar with tools like Klaviyo, Stay.ai, and Triple Whale, and comfortable working within the Shopify ecosystemComfortable owning strategy while managing creative execution through in-house teams or external partnersOrganized, proactive, and excited to build in a fast-moving environmentHas worked with a DTC brand doing $5M+ in annual online revenueExperience managing or growing an SMS programUnderstands the interplay between retention, acquisition, and brand — not just open ratesExperience marketing in regulated or rapidly evolving industries where traditional channels are constrainedBenefitsFully remote with unlimited PTO$500/month QSEHRA health insurance reimbursementPerformance bonus and product perksCompany OverviewSnoozy knows the importance of a good night's rest.
