[Remote] Retention & Educational Specialist

They are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Medicare Insurance Agent to enhance member retention and drive new business growth by building strong relationships with Medicare members and enrolling new beneficiaries into suitable health plans.ResponsibilitiesMaintain regular contact with existing Medicare members to strengthen relationships and improve member satisfactionConduct annual policy reviews to ensure members remain enrolled in plans that best meet their healthcare and financial needsProactively address member concerns, questions, and service issues to reduce disenrollmentEducate members on plan benefits, coverage changes, and available resourcesIdentify cross-selling and upselling opportunities when appropriateSupport members during Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), Open Enrollment Period (OEP), and Special Enrollment Periods (SEPs)Generate and manage a pipeline of Medicare prospects through referrals, networking, community outreach, marketing campaigns, and lead follow-upConduct needs-based consultations to educate beneficiaries on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug Plans, and related productsPresent plan options clearly and compliantly, helping prospects make informed enrollment decisionsMeet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goalsAttend community events, seminars, health fairs, and educational meetings to generate new business opportunitiesMaintain accurate records of prospect interactions, enrollments, and follow-up activities within CRM systemsAdhere to all CMS regulations, carrier guidelines, and company compliance requirementsComplete all required certifications, licensing, and training programsMaintain accurate documentation of sales and service activitiesProtect confidential member information in accordance with HIPAA regulationsSkillsActive Health and Life Insurance License (required)AHIP certification and carrier certifications (or ability to obtain)Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug PlansExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesProficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and virtual communication toolsStrong problem-solving and customer retention skillsMinimum 1–3 years of Medicare sales, insurance sales, or related customer service experience preferredPassion for serving seniors and helping individuals understand healthcare coverage optionsSelf-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-drivenStrong consultative sales approach focused on long-term relationshipsAbility to build trust and credibility with diverse populationsBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision benefits.Paid time off and holidays.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Career advancement potential within a growing organization.A comprehensive benefits package that includes PTO, medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, disability insurance, and life insurance.Company OverviewAmeriLife provide insurance and retirement solutions to enhance the lives of pre-retirees and retirees.
