[Remote] Research Analyst, Massachusetts Research & Education Collaborative

Kindbridge Research Institute (KRI) is pioneering work in gambling-related mental health as a non-profit focused on research, behavioral health, and community well-being. They are seeking a passionate Research Analyst to support research, surveillance, and knowledge translation efforts aimed at reducing gambling-related harms across Massachusetts.ResponsibilitiesConduct literature reviews, evidence scans, environmental scans, and background research on gambling, gaming, digital dependencies, and related public health topicsSupport the development of annual reports, landscape analyses, policy briefs, surveillance products, and other research deliverablesAssist with synthesizing, interpreting, and communicating findings from a variety of data sourcesContribute to peer-reviewed manuscripts, conference presentations, technical reports, and other scholarly or applied research productsTranslate research findings into accessible materials for policymakers, healthcare providers, community organizations, and public audiencesCreate reports, fact sheets, presentations, infographics, and other knowledge-sharing resourcesSupport emerging research priorities and special projects identified through stakeholder engagement, surveillance findings, and public health needsMaintain research resources, project documentation, references, dissemination materials, and tracking systemsCollaborate with researchers, subject matter experts, academic partners, and community stakeholders to advance statewide research and public health initiativesSupport stakeholder engagement, knowledge-sharing activities, and dissemination efforts across MassachusettsSkillsMaster's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Communication, Behavioral Health, or a related fieldStrong research, writing, and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights for diverse audiencesExperience conducting literature reviews, research synthesis, public health analysis, or developing research reports and policy briefsStrong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independentlyFamiliarity with health equity frameworks and working with diverse communitiesInterest in behavioral health, addiction, gambling-related harms, health equity, public health surveillance, or digital well-beingExperience working in public health, research, healthcare, nonprofit, or academic settingsFamiliarity with data analysis, statistics, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, R, Python, or similar platforms a plusBenefitsFlexible Remote Work: This is a fully remote position, with a preference for candidates based in MassachusettsAutonomous & Impact-Driven: We believe in giving our team members the trust, tools, and support to own their workCollaborative & Innovative: You’ll be part of a dynamic, mission-driven team that values open communication, learning, and experimentationCompany OverviewKindbridge Research Institute studies gaming and gambling addiction, focusing on evidence-based programs for at-risk groups.
