They are seeking a Business Development Representative to drive sales growth and business development initiatives within an assigned territory for ABS Quality Evaluations, Inc.ResponsibilitiesMain objective is to sell ABS QE services using the strength of local affiliates’ business structureDefine and maintain target lists of prospect clients for accounts to be targeted in the region. Client prospecting in the target regionDevelop a sales strategy for the region to achieve defined sales targetsProvides sales forecast data as well as other market and customer information for use in sales planningStays within expense budgets and observes Company sales policiesProduce local proposals for clients/prospects under ABS QE procedures and pricing guidelinesActively follow up on all proposals and conduct client presentations where requiredProvides support to operations as necessary to ensure customers are receiving appropriate serviceAssists in collections as necessaryCommunicates regularly with the Director of Business Development or Country Manager regarding opportunities, challenges, and any other business mattersParticipates in special projects and teams as necessary to support the overall development of the businessMeets or exceeds delegated sales targetsWhile the position is remote, regular travel (50%+) to client sites and project locations is a core part of the roleSkillsBachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university or equivalent business/quality-related experience5 or more years of experience in the industry is preferredStrong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and related management system certification schemesSelf-motivated professional with a track record of sales leadershipHigh energy professional with a commitment to succeed in sales and business developmentFacile with computers, both in preparing presentations and communications and in working within ABS QE's operating platformsAbility to develop a working knowledge of ABS Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, and related instructions, as well as the ABS Employee Safety PolicyExcellent communicator both with customers and the sales teamFocus on the result; strong desire to achieve objectives despite challengesSensitive to multicultural environmentsBusiness experience in manufacturing and/or technical service industryFamiliarity with management systems is helpful.
