They are seeking a Renewal Risk Engineer to underwrite renewal business, evaluate risk exposures, and develop management liability insurance products in collaboration with various teams. The role involves maintaining broker relationships and representing the company at industry events.ResponsibilitiesUnderwrite renewal business across ML product lines in accordance with company guidelines and performance targetsEvaluate risk exposures, loss history, and operational data to determine appropriate pricing, coverage, and termsProvide quick and competitive quotes in alignment with distribution and market strategiesServe as a trusted partner to wholesale brokers by offering thoughtful underwriting guidance and responsive communicationMaintain and expand a portfolio of high-performing broker relationships to drive retention and profitable growthRepresent Counterpart at broker meetings, industry conferences, and networking eventsWork closely with fellow Risk Engineers and product teams to refine guidelines, pricing models, and coverage formsIdentify market feedback and recommend enhancements to improve product offerings and underwriting strategyBind renewal accounts through consistent engagement with brokers and effective management of the renewal lifecycleMaintain accurate and compliant documentation for all underwriting decisionsSkills8+ years of underwriting experience in Management Liability, ideally with a focus on renewals within the wholesale distribution channelDemonstrated success in building and maintaining broker relationshipsExpertise in specialty liability products including policy forms, rating procedures, and coverage structuresStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsConfidence in presenting and discussing underwriting decisions with internal and external stakeholdersProficiency with modern underwriting tools and systemsBachelor's degree preferred, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experienceProfessional designations (e.g., RPLU, CPCU) are a plusBenefitsFully remote workplaceUnlimited Vacation : We offer flexible time off, allowing you to take time when you need it.Work from Anywhere : Counterpart is a fully distributed company, meaning there is no office.
