The role involves optimizing pipeline performance, ensuring data reliability, and collaborating with stakeholders to clarify requirements. Responsibilities
ā¢ Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks
ā¢ Retrieve, transform, cleanse, and deliver data from various sources
ā¢ Optimize pipeline performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks
ā¢ Implement monitoring, alerting, and self-recovery capabilities within pipelines
ā¢ Ensure data reliability, accuracy, and system stability
ā¢ Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify vague requirements and propose solutions
ā¢ Maintain strong ownership of delivered pipelines and ongoing operations
Skills
ā¢ Strong SQL experience
ā¢ Strong Databricks experience (SQL + Python)
ā¢ Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines
ā¢ Ability to independently monitor and maintain production workflows
ā¢ Strong problem-solving skills; proactive mindset
ā¢ Comfortable working with ambiguity
ā¢ Healthcare data experience (preferred, not required)
ā¢ Experience with pipeline automation and recovery workflows
