The role focuses on optimizing live trading and market data infrastructure to ensure performance, stability, and observability, directly impacting latency and execution quality. Responsibilities β’ Owning and optimizing live trading and market data systems β’ Designing monitoring, alerting, and observability tools to catch issues early β’ Deploying and tuning low-latency services such as matching engines and market data feeds β’ Managing and troubleshooting exchange incidents, latency spikes, and production issues in real time β’ Collaborating with traders, quants, and product teams to ensure high availability β’ Contributing to system-level design around performance, reliability, and disaster recovery β’ Building and maintaining APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines that support trading operations Skills β’ 4+ years of experience in systems, backend, or trading infrastructure engineering β’ Direct experience working on live trading systems, exchanges, or real-time financial platforms β’ Strong programming skills in Go, Rust, or C++ β’ Deep understanding of networking, distributed systems, and low-latency performance optimization β’ Hands-on experience with market data distribution, order management, and execution systems β’ Strong production mindset with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar β’ Experience operating infrastructure in AWS, GCP, or bare-metal environments β’ Knowledge of FIX, WebSocket, and REST protocols β’ Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or large-scale container orchestration β’ Background in HFT, derivatives, perpetuals, or crypto-native trading systems β’ Contributions to open-source trading or infrastructure projects Company Overview β’ Talent Search Pro, we understand that making the right hire is a critical action that you have to take as an organization.
